Yes,it does bring back memories and it never ever bores me!!One of the greatest !!Lurv the 94 voodoo version ...I can do without Dave!! The seventies!!!
Then one day she left me She took everything that moved My car, she took my trailer home She took my Sunday boots My nose is on her trail I'm going to catch her by surprise Then I'm going to have the pleasure To roast that child alive
I've got a comment on this one. An irritating comment, perhaps. You know that the drums should kick in the sec. before the 2nd verse? Well, you know when Charlie starts playing (on live versions) at the last word of "her hair were all drenched in SPRAY"(THERE he starts playing). That's really the wrong place to start, it sounds like SPRAY is the important word. I'm really frustrated by that. It's a great song, neverthless. I wish they had done it in US 1978, as they had rehearsed on it. That would have been magnificent!

I noticed that too! Rockman, I can't believe you'd make such a mistake. We've had 2 mistakes from you this month! This and the CS Blues in red-light-district! Now, Come on!
i like the memory motel. my favorite lines are "I hit the bottle, I hit the sack and cried" and "whats all that laughter on the 22nd floor, its just some friends of mine and their bustin down the door".
Not a big dave fan per se, but I like the way he sings this part too.

just checked that out - hilarious. thanks for the tip.
Lots of people dislike Matthews singing with The Stones, but not everyone: In an interview with Keith in IORR a few years ago, the interviewer complained about this. But Keith said he liked it. And these were not empty words, you can see that in the BtB-video, e.g. the way Charlie applauds Matthews.
