Tuesday morning and ur still moaning!!! Flucking amazing.....
AND what a ridiculous thread!!! Latter Sinatra was still great... Watertown is a classic, Ol Blue Eyes is back is tops, Concert performances were still great.... check out 80th celebration! Stupid comparison! He wasa crooner for christ sake.
If you despair that much about the Stones then piss off and let everyone else enjoy a still great band!
The Stones are not Sinatra. Period. Why don't you flaggots all just flade away after you have plissed off? They rock like Sinatra never did! For instance, listen to Satisfaction! Fantastic song! Gets better every show since 1965!
Like the group the Knack My Sharona or like Grand Funk´s Gidi-up or oool'Li'l Richard A wop bop a lu bop a wop bop boom... Shouldnt that be all our points here, rock'n'roll for X:s sake...
The Stones do great performances, still having high level of energy. They are rocking. They remain the most successful, popular and attractive - even with these ticket prices- live act worldwide. After 43 years of career they are able to create marvellous albums, like ABB. In their audiences there are a lot of young people. And yes, in the last 15-17 years they are minting money: how do you expect the opposite, when we are talking about the guys who have played to 24.5 million of people since 1989? Much more than in the “golden years” of 60s and 70s...
Old Sinatra was an ex-myth, representing a “dead” kind of music. The Stones is a vivid legent, representing in a magnificent way an alive kind of music: Rock and Roll.

They had the warhorses to end all warhorses. No, the Rat Pack didn't cover Chuck Berry...so, what's your point. The Stones haven't covered Cole Porter, either. Good music is good music - labels are pointless.
