I get their newsletters; and like Halup I'm under the impression
that Astbury as well as Copeland is along on board... But I'm
less sure of Copeland, partly cause of ONNYA:s remark.

I was just checking out their website: [www.thedoors.com]

Astbury is still the singer, I guess he's going to be in that band and The Cult as well. Copeland played a few shows with them when they first reunited in late '02 but that was it, they have some guy named Ty Dennis on drums now. I think he was in Kreiger's solo band. I believe they have the bass player from Kreiger's solo band as well. I saw them (Kreiger and his band) in early '02 and they put on a good show.

Man, that is a HORRIBLE pic.......

Eddie looks like a mix between Charles Manson and present-day Jimmy Page. Hideous.

OT - Who is the hot Latina behind him?

Cream are intending to do more shows. Last year, after they had played in New York, the word was that was it for good. Since then, things have changed.

Last month, Cream was given a life time achievement awards at the Grammys with Jack Bruce here in town to accept, but no sign of Clapton or Baker. Baker told Billboard that Cream will do more shows, but was nto at liberty to say when or where, but he said it would be like last year and not a full blown tour.

I had the chance to briefly talk to Jack as he was leaving the Warner Brothers post Grammy party and I asked him about this new report. He said yes, they are planning to play more.

Not exactly a reunion but the Chili Peppers are starting a tour behind their soon-to-be-released new double album Stadium Arcadium... including a very likely gig headlining Lollapalooza in Chicago on April 6th or 7th... the LP lineup is to be officially announced tomorrow but the RHCP headline rumor is supposed to be 99% likely.

Someone asked what you have to look forward to this summer... without question the RHCP tour will be a monster.

"It's just that demon life has got me in it's sway..."

<Police drummer Stewie Copeland would be busy with
reunitin' "Doors" wouldnt he?>

He was fired in 2002. Ty Dennis plays drums. D21C got a refusal of keeping their band name from the courts , and their new name is "Riders On The Storm". They are currently recording an album with new material. Ian Astbury from The Cult sings.
