work for Ford. Got into the Stones of course after the 81-82 tour. Had to wait 7 excruciating years to see them in East Troy, Wisconsin(because they skipped Chicago???) in Sept. '89. When the fireworks erupted and Start Me Up played I just stared and pointed. It seemed like an eternity , but was only for a minute or so. I turned to my buddy and said "they're real". He must have thought I was a jackass! Well, 21 shows later here we are!!!!!!

Trying to save up for a mortgage.
I work in Central London- when i'm not working, i spend time with my girlfriend, am a season ticket holder at my favourite football club,
go to gigs (have tickets for Maria McKee, tonight!!),
and am training, to run The London Marathon in April,
in aid of Breast Cancer...it's not going very well- getting gover an injury, which has set back my schedule by 2-3 weeks.
Going to 5 Stones gigs, this summer:- Barca, Wembleyx2, Sheffield, Cardiff.
I look forward to meeting some of you then!

Hey Adrian, If you feel like the marathon is killing you have a rest in Poplar high sreet. The band I play with called Hair of the Dog are playing outside The Poplar bowls club......good luck with the run man.....and come up and say hello [if you aint too out of breath]

Hello, I'm Debra, aka MICKSCHIX, I live in the Berkshires in Western Massachusetts, USA and I am in my 40's, ENOUGH SAID! I first saw the Stones in Boston in 1972 and since then I've seen shows on ALL tours that followed, thus far 34 in all. I am a Director Of Advertising Sales, trying to sell enough this month to pay for my last show in Boston. Always well worth the money. I play slide guitar, used to play lead and chords too but had an accident( not my fault) which messed up my left hand a bit. Drunk driver hit me. Still have the desire to play like I used to so I'll make it happen one day. I have been blessed enough to have met Mick twice, Lisa, Blondie, Chuck, Kent, Tim, Bernard, and Bobby and for this I consider myself very fortunate. ( Oh and Daryl too!) The music of the Stones has brought me such joy over the last 35+ years that I can't imagine life without the thrill of planning to see a show and all of the anticipation that leads up to the actual event. I've met some wonderful people over the years because of my interest in music and the Stones and I love sharing info and impressions. I also have a huge Stones collection and hundreds of pictures, taken by me, that someday I'll share here! I bet we're all collectors! Nothing new in that! I'm an avid reader, currently reading the Keith bio by Chris Sandford, just finished Chuck's book, a great read full of Stones little-known tidbits. Peace to all.

OMG! I'm probably the oldest one on here! I'm 58 (28 in the brain) from St. Louis Mo. I'm in social work. I'm not a musician, but I love the Stones, and lots of other music too. Is there a new Keith bio out? I read the one that came out in the 1990's. I've been lurking for a while, and reading your comments, some of which are really funny. I think it's interesting how some people love the songs I hate and hate the songs I love lol. And it's so interesting to read posts from those of you in the UK and other countries.

During the day and for all but 12 nights of my adult life, I am a CPA. On the other 12 nights I was at a Stones concert. On those 12 nights I was a raging lunatic. I don't know when I'll get be to be cool again if the Stones retire.

I enjoy shattering the stereotype some people have of CPA's being boring, limp dicked, spineless little people. Aint it great?

Oh yeah, I love rock and roll. I've seen the Stones only five times, but let me tell you, all five of those times were wild experiences, not the kind you'd read about in the ol' AICPA newsletter.
