The best version is the studio version; it's the one tune that I have never been happy with live. Don't know why, but Mick's vocal just ooooozes sex and decadence, and the guitars are perfect.
Good version but too bluesy for me .Satisfaction is a primal scream ,the expression of a frustration,the rage against the consumer society ,this is Rock'n'Roll for me not blues. No, the best version is the Harmonica (Brian Jones on Harp) outtake version from Chess Studios 1965. Its a KILLER! It can be seen mimed, with live vocal at the end of the Tami Show, I think...WOW!

i like the msg 69 versions 2 ,also like Oakland 94 but my fav live 1 is Brennen 98 from the dvd,i watched that 1 enough ill tell ya, but the Top Dog is the studio version 2 me also ,that made a hell of a statement back then, like that's right We Bad & Were the Stones
