Besides all of the Stones cds you ought to own every album by Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan.
Then you've covered a large and essential chunk of the highlights in the history of music.
The best of the best segment, that is.

Music from Big Pink and the homonymous album by The Band. Two earthly counterparts to Exile: without the alienation but equally great (Americana)

Mink DeVille's first two records, "Mink DeVille" and "Return to Magenta."

Every Stones fans would like them. You'll find solid rock, good musicianship, soulful tunes, blues, R&B -- everything.

Willy DeVille and his band really rocked.

As far as AC/DC goes, Stiff Upper Lip is one of their best records...it's just excellent.

Also, check out the New Radicals album. The single is not the best song and the band (gregg alexander) has a huge Stone's influence; it's just a great CD.
