is the mick taylor with the stones in '81 cd worth getting?

Closer Than Close
Rock the Palais
Behind the Double Door
Bright Lights, Big City
French Made

To answer your question, I have this boot somewhere (called "Guitar Onslaught") but no time enough to listen to it. I have read that Mick Taylor's guitar was quite inaudible on that one.

No. I mean "yes", if you want everything better than the average bootleg, but MANY shows from 1981 is better than this one. Cedar Falls, Phoenix, Seattle, S.F. Hampton, etc. Its OK, but the Stones are not on fire.

Since I've never heard Stuttgart '99 I'll replace it with Boston '99

tried to be representative of their live eras. Brussels Affair is top-notch, but the Touring Party discs take care of '72, which I consider a far better tour than Europe '73. I'd go with one of the Australia '73 boards before anything from Europe. Also - if you haven't heard Stuttgart (it's thought by many to be a soundboard; it's not...it's better), then I implore you to seek it out. Blows everything else from '99 away....

My initial answer to this is yes....upon reflection though I'd say............

just under...better than most boots, it has mostly properly mixed songs on it.
