Well, I lived in Athens for 2 years... in Kolonaki, went to the American Community School back in 95-96. I remember the up- and -down streets that rival San Francisco, and the fact that the garbage men seemed to be on strike far too often, but apart from that, beautiful country.

after a 10 year soujourn in the sleepy little indie rock town Chapel Hill (the Shire), i recently moved to Mordor....Washington, DC.

now i don't have to take off work and drive 300 miles to protest. Haha!

i do enjoy being back in the bustle of a city though, in the same way that i enjoyed being out of the big city when i moved to chapel hill. does this happen to you guys alot, moving from metropolis to tiny town back to metropolis every 5-10 years, or do you prefer to always live in either the city or the country? i guess i need a mix.

This has really been interesting finding out where you all live. What intrigues me most is that I am a teacher and one of the subjects I teach is eastern hemisphere geography. Many of you live in areas that are covered in the book, but basically all I know of your homelands is what is presented in the book. If only I could tap into your expertise.............!

I went to school in Scheveningen for 2 years. Great time in my life... it's such a nice place. I live not too far way from it. I still go there occasionally.
