Smart move of them. The money is in touring these days and a big tour will be the best retirement plan they could ever come up with.

Especially after Noel's expensive divorce

Europe's live 2025 event for sure.

I'm hearing it won't be the original band besides Liam & Noel. Pity. Bonehead was kind of their understated secret weapon.
If they do stadiums in North America, they will probably be fewer and farther between. UK will likely be a bloodbath for tickets.
The line-up will probably be: Liam, Noel; Gem Archer, and Andy Bell. Zak Starkey will guest on drums, with Bonehead making a cameo, possibly.
I can’t envisage stadiums in North America; large arenas, definitely.
Will I go? No. As someone else here posted: it’ll be an absolute ‘bloodbath’ trying to get tickets, here in the UK. I’m too old for the stress. I saw them in ‘08 at Wembley Stadium; that’s a fine memory, right there.
I’ll enjoy the video’s on YouTube.

As much as I’m looking forward to hopefully catching the Stones next year, Oasis’ ‘comeback’ is going to eclipse e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. This is a huge, huge, happening in U.K. music. I’ve stated earlier in this thread that I probably won’t try for tickets, yet it’s still exciting.

We Americans and Brits should respect each other's preferences in music and never insult or throw jabs. America started the ball rolling with Elvis and Chuck Berry. Thank goodness that the UK had plenty of disaffected teens, who found this a perfect outlet for what they were feeling after the war. If it weren't for them reworking old American Blues music and sending it back, we wouldn't have an IORR discussing one such band.
The bond between us is unbreakable. Both places have put out masterpieces, and crap. I think KISS is the winner in the craptastic category, and The Spice Girls are a close second. We're lucky to have had each other.

Lets hope this isn't a trainwreck
They're getting way too much money that they'll be good little boys. No one expected Axl Rose to be neutered but you give him a reunion payday and suddenly he knows what time the show starts and doesn't rant a peep. Liam will be his usual cheekiness I'm guessing, but its too much money for it to be something that falls apart immediately. Liam's the one who's wanted it and Noel needs the money. There have been deeper hatreds than them.Quote

Great news! Hopefully USA dates will be added, and maybe a new album!Quote

... true! I wouldn't be surprised if it lasts only a couple shows before the next blowout

Oasis reportedly disliked grunge and the Seattle scene, so don't get your hopes up. Also lack of population density compared to the East Coast or SoCal.

Next summer in Europe is going to be ridiculous with the amount of big gigs taking place. Oasis, Stones (Potentially), AC/DC (potentially), Springsteen and U2 (Potentially). All of my Summer holiday bookings are currently on hold!
