That's a nice surprise! Did not expect to hear new music from Bill, to be honest. THe man is 87 years old.

And altough I never really liked his solo work (I do like some tracks on Monkey Grip), I'm very curious what he recorded..

Great bass player but his albums haven’t been great

As far as I understand it, Bill did most of the travelling with the Stones in Europe, from Rome to Oslo etc (1990) by car or train. Quite understandable that he left the Stones and continued to do his own stuff. Let's see what his new album brings

I think Bill has always put out high quality stuff. He's not the greatest singer, but musically his recordings are very good and interesting. Looking forward to this release!

As much as I appreciate Bill as a band member I think that he has the same problem as Mick Taylor: Both of them need a great band to bring out the best in them. Their solo albums are quite mediocre.

Within a band they have proved that they are world class musicians!

I like it a lot! It's probably my favorite off the album ... but I can see how some would not like it.
