Yeah, me too.
As a teenager I bought cardboard sleeve VHS version, then plastic cover VHS, then pirate DVD, then official Japan DVD, then european DVD, then Japan Blu-Ray.. and now this.
And not even mentioning all the guitar gear I’ve bought over the years to get THAT sound. I think it would be appropriate that this movie is screened at my funeral.

Another example of a "disaster-turned-glorious" event, the history of the band is full of :
Ashby OD'ed on coke minutes before the Tempe show, the Nov.6 gig is probably the worst of the tour (Keith was in a non-functional state that night) and LIB from Tempe was a trainwreck, despite being played about 30 times before during the tour.
Yetwhen you watch the film, you are treated to a elating performance, including a flawless LIB (thank you editors) and a fantastic ADTL, that even MT obsessives can't deny it's good.

Is there anywhere we can grab the audio of the film?

I must have watched the movie a thousand times, it formed the way I see the Stones.
And the edits and the higher speed only makes it a much higher energy boost to watch, I just love it.

Same here regarding Keith anyway, all the stuff 'cept for the Mesa Boogie (which is kinda essential) and a Rosewood Tele.
Same here -to date my guitar gear is centered around the Stones gear of 1981 - 1983, with a les Paul thrown in for the Taylor parts.

My thoughts exactly, I first saw it on VHS Titled "Time is on my side" how I'd love to have that VHS Case on the shelf.Quote

They overdubbed the film. Heavily.

The audio of the 3 shows the movie is made from (Phoenix Dec. 13 & East Rutherford Nov. 5 + 6) is available in perfect complete unaccelerated stereo quality from Wolfgang's Vault (and the bootlegs made thereof).
