Is this going to be the full concert? If I remember correctly they shortened and cut songs. One of the reasons I don’t watch this one all that much. Love the performances and songs though so I’d be happy to watch it again if the songs are complete

My LEAST favourite Stones live dvd/album. I find the tone, including Mick’s “singing” (he scowls, not sings) just too one-key, flat and even awkward. There’s only a few tracks I can listen to. I doubt I’ll pick this up.

Your expectations is why this 4K project was killed.
The reality is, like with The Beatles' anthology series, The Rolling Stones missed the boat again.
20 years ago people may've still be interested.
2024 and onward... no money to be made in terms of profit. That's the only reason to do such a thing that only a few hundred diehards loved. Eagle Rock or whoever would be grateful to sell 10,000 copies world wide. Streaming would probably be lower.
LSTNT is not a vital part of Stones history. Its raggely production speaks for that. Edited songs, sped up songs - it was a moment not cared for.

The beginning of the show still gives me goosebumps. When the band hits the stage, the crowds comes forward and screams there lungs out. Love the zeitgeist. Young stones, young crowd, no phones, no huge screens.. And everybody was having a great time.
I would be one of the people to buy a 4k LSTNT. Take my money.

I miss the mixing of French VHS released in the 1980s!
There was Keith who stood out a lot more in the mix while the blu-ray is more focused on the rhythm section and it’s Woody who stands out the most.

The japanese Blu Ray has already excellent picture. It will be hard to improve that. The audio is sadly not that good. But you can't improve the audio without a new mix. Kino Lorber surely won't get access to the master tapes. The same happened to L&G where the audio still isn't any good.
