Is this going to be the full concert? If I remember correctly they shortened and cut songs. One of the reasons I don’t watch this one all that much. Love the performances and songs though so I’d be happy to watch it again if the songs are complete

i'm a little confused (and not very knowledgeable about this stuff) is this a coming digital release in 4k or a 4k ultra hd blu ray or a normal full hd blu ray created from a 4k scan of the original film?

will this edition be different?

Hopefully it’s not the sped up version, more the Japanese proper speed one

its in 4K from the original camera negative, it will blow away any other release and it most certainly wont be sped up, no pal conversion and it will play in any 4k player in the world.

Was wondering about that, the Japanese BD's quality is already stunning, can't see how it could be any better !

Nice! I played the DVD when it first came out and it was so sped up it was ridiculous. Haven't played it since. In 81 they already played the songs pretty fast but the DVD sped up was nuts. Still have my VHS, I remember dubbing onto cassette back in the 80s.

The Japanese blu ray was already in the normal speed, so will the 4K.
Don't worry! It will be good!

I sure hope they fix it. Too sped up. Let It Bleed is out of place.

If we are lucky, we'll get both complete shows or a few extra cuts.

Yes, it will be different. The resolution of a standard Bluray disc is 1920x1080 pixels. 4K Bluray comes in 3840x2160 pixels.

But you will only see the difference if you have an 4K television and a 4K bluray player (PlayStation 5 and Xbox series X video game consoles both are 4K bluray players too).

I must have watched the movie a thousand times, it formed the way I see the Stones.

And the edits and the higher speed only makes it a much higher energy boost to watch, I just love it.

Ashby OD'ed on coke minutes before the Tempe show, the Nov.6 gig is probably the worst of the tour (Keith was in a non-functional state that night) and LIB from Tempe was a trainwreck, despite being played about 30 times before during the tour.

Yetwhen you watch the film, you are treated to a elating performance, including a flawless LIB (thank you editors) and a fantastic ADTL, that even MT obsessives can't deny it's good.

He too The audio will be remastered, in my opinion, the audio on the DVD is not good, it seems to you.

Yeah, me too.

As a teenager I bought cardboard sleeve VHS version, then plastic cover VHS, then pirate DVD, then official Japan DVD, then european DVD, then Japan Blu-Ray.. and now this.

And not even mentioning all the guitar gear I’ve bought over the years to get THAT sound. I think it would be appropriate that this movie is screened at my funeral.

I bet it was a shitload of work to scan them all. But it will be so worth it. Can't wait. My favorite film.
