Great drawing of Keith in Aftenposten (Norway)

Sorry you can't get behind the paywall. There is a much larger version of the drawing there. The article is about research trying to stop the process of aging and mentions the possibilkity of a 100 year celebration tour in 2062!

Thanks for the reference.

In matters of taste, opinions vary widely. However, some may think that image it portrays of Keith is not exactly seductive or attractive. Quite the opposite, in fact.

Looks pretty good for a 119 year old!

Last Leaf
I’m the last leaf on the tree
The autumn took the rest
But they won’t take me
I’m the last leaf on the tree

When the autumn wind blows
They’re already gone
They flutter to the ground
Cause they can’t hang on
There’s nothing in the world
That I ain’t seen
I greet all the new ones that are coming in green

I’m the last leaf on the tree
The autumn took the rest but they wont take me
I’m the last leaf on the tree

They say I got staying power
Here on the tree
But I’ve been here since Eisenhower
And I’ve out lived even he

I’m the last leaf on the tree
The autumn took the rest but they won’t take me
I’m the last leaf on the tree

I fight off the snow
I fight off the hail
Nothing makes me go
I’m like some vestigial tail
I’ll be here through eternity
If you want to know how long
If they cut down this tree
I’ll show up in a song

I’m the last leaf on the tree
The autumn took the rest but they won’t take me
I’m the last leaf on the tree
I’m the last leaf on the tree
I’m the last leaf on the tree

Aftenposten is THE leading newspaper in Norway. It is a great drawing.

Det evige liv er mulig på jorden (Eternal life is possible on Earth)
by Frank Rossavik - Published Jan 11, 2024

It is about eternal life, a rather philosophical article. Still a great article.

Drawing by Marvin Halleraker.

I suspect Keith would love it and find it very funny.

He seems very happy in his skin these days... and certainly not precious about his appearance or age.

Good lord...the stuff of nightmares.
Art is subjective and this is horrible, in my opinion.

It's quite ugly in some respects, but I think it is a fantastic piece.

Some times horrible is good.

I like the drawing and I like the symbolism - Keith is a ever growing tree that outlives most things.

(We had a table tennis champion named Jan-Ove Waldner who the Chinese called "The ever green tree" because of his endurance.
He was also called Mozart by the way due to his skillfully elegant playing style...)

Horrible is horrible. This drawing is shocking and unpleasant to me.
Symbolism aside, I've never been a fan of this type of art where the subject is forcibly aged. To each their own.

I think it's wonderful that Keith has become a symbol of longevity. Remember, this is not a rock'n'roll publication, but the leading Norwegian newspaper. Quite flattering, from my point of view.

Exactly.Keith is like an old gracious living oak tree. To be treasured.

The names it has blown in the past?
And with this crutch
Its old age and its wisdom
It whispers, "No, this will be the last"

It's a caricature not a portrait. It's supposed to be a bit over the top. That's the nature of a caricature. Caricatures are almost never flattering.
I think keith can handle it. It's not the first caricature of him or the band...
