I think AXS is likely to be mobile tickets only, don't know about TM. However, for both AXS and TM, your "ticket" appears within their app (in which you log into your account), so as long as you download the right app then it shouldn't matter if you change phones. Your actual number has nothing to do with it.

It's cool looking at the Chicago map amd seeing how many have been sold thanks to the glitch! I'm going with GA, so I'm just going to hold off until the artist pre-sale. Still cool being able to see all the pricing for different seats without worrying about them selling on you.

The 2018 UK Lucky Dip glitch was epic, too. Early on you could by between 1 to 6 dips. They honored all of those purchases.

Sorry, Topi, I was actually inquiring about hotel prices in Chicago. Sorry.

A number of the places I alluded to in the post in the previous tour thread in which I tried to avoid explicitly naming hotels seem to still be reasonably-priced. Nearest the venue, the Best Western Grant Park would probably be ok, if overpriced, but there are better hotels and deals closer to the center of the loop (including the StayPineapple I mentioned) through River North into the Gold Coast, where the Millennium hotel looks like a particularly good deal, the British-sounding one I mentioned nearby not bad either.

I've used a consolidator many times, super.com, still some decent prices near the magnificent mile.

I will say I've read the odd issue with this site so just saying...,I've had occurrences where I was double-charged that were rectified fairly easily But overall pretty good experience & good prices.

Someone losing their job over this was my first thought too, although that quickly exited my mind as soon as I got through and bought tickets. I

noticed the verbiage mentions that tickets should be in our accounts on Friday, November 24th. I would think if it was a glitch, that date would say next Friday since the presale is next Thursday?

This adds to the list of many things to be grateful for this Thanksgiving!

I futzed around on AXS trying to get tix but got into an endless loop of ‘To continue please rotate your phone’ and ‘Hold tight, we’re getting your tickets’. Annoying, especially as I wasn’t using a phone! Oh well, pre-tour ticket buying stress… Now I’m almost ready for the official ticket buying stress!

I'm wondering which would create more uproar---AXS cancelling all the orders placed today or fans who missed out getting pissed. Tricky PR dilemma...

At the end of the day, the glitch, if it stands, costs them Zero dollars (at least before Premium pricing etc). Reversing the charges seems potentially costly, credit card fees, taxes etc.
I imagine sponsors of the presales like AARP won't be too happy. Imagine there's designated tix available to them that perhaps got scooped up.

Gotta be more of an uproar to cancel the tix I'm thinking.. but tough to say.

Just scored a ticket for Chicago. The amount has been withdrawn from my credit card already. Makes no sense to cancel it: They put the ticket on sale, sold it and took the money. It must be a rare case if a company cancel a deal because they sold an item earlier than anticipated.

I mind of agree, why cancel money you already have payment for? The name of the game is to sell tix, if a glitch allowed a few to buy early...tickets were sold. With the exception of folks on this fan page, I assume the general public is none the wiser.
