Actually, in terms of dance music Modern Talking is better than this remix. Although, it is not that bad. Kind of condensed old-fashion disco. It will be hated by purists .

Just listened to the remix via VPN. Made me laugh that hard. Nearly all of the guitars are left out and it resembles Rod Stewart's Do Ya Think I'm Sexy - but without any real instruments. It wouldn't be that bad if they left some guitar parts.
Hope Keef won't kill Mick for that.

Yeah, just heard the remix. Everything I love about the song is gone.

Tempo feels slower, its more minor, Miss you kind of bass/beat, micks falsetto "i tell no lies" removed too.

Stick with the original! (Which I love)

Funny how it sounds like a 90's house track. Maybe this kind of retro vibe is trending now.

I thought we were now beyond this 1990s disco house club bullshit. Obviously not yet.

I knew it would not be a rock remix.

Hopefully something surfaces on this song with Dua Lipa
Or maybe her recording will appear on the next LP

Funnily, the original album version sounds like some different parts connected pretty loosely together, but now it sounds more like one coherent piece. Some of it having to do with it being edited very heavily - to the effect of Mick is rushing it through, like having not one breath there. Sounds very busy. However, what it tells is that it is a good, catchy, well-written song to begin with.

I like the old time sexy disco bass there - "Emotional Rescue" funked up? - and the idea of 'since it is a remix, let us make it sound different'. So it has a point having released - and who knows, even a function, as far as dance floors go. But otherwise, it is just a funny - and pretty forgetable - footnote for the album version (that I have started to like more and more in its musical richness).

It sounds pretty good,yet I prefer the album version.This could have been remixed much better though.A lost opportunity.

I was really hoping for more falsetto in the remix, not less.

But it's cool.

Im not very hard to satisfy. Everyone have different taste and this was not my cup of Tea. I was hoping for more tempo, a good colab. But the song is too slow and the best parts have been removed IMO.

I think the album version is superior, but I enjoyed the remix a lot! It was a nice way to hear the song again.

Anybody know if there is gonna be a vinyl or cd single available?

I’m surprised that it’s slower. But then I know zilch about current trends in so-called ‘dance’ music.

The original would get me out on the floor in seconds if it came on a party. This version would not. But then I’m 61 and I’m not the target audience…

I miss the guitars….
