From a distance you can see that she captured the Rolling Stones Mick Jagger & Keith Richards live on stage in her statues

Couldn't they just have settled with a plaque? Anyway, seems like the 1981 tour is the model for the statue.

A fitting tribute, I think it's great. The most important thing is that "they've been recognised" as the f***ing geniuses they are. Who cares whether the statues are a 100% likeness, who cares about all this other s**t ? They've written timeless material, they'll be spoken about and listened to years after us talentless gits are all dead and gone !

Be fair people !

I think for the most part they look awesome I just think Mick looks a little weird with such short hair, almost Steel Wheels era.

Wow! I think I have never seen such great statues of rock people, capturing the essence of the guys in action so well. One can feel the energy. Impressive!

Why to settle with a plague? I think those statues are much more enjoyable to watch than some plague. Or do you think they don't - or what they represent - deserve a statue? Two about biggest and most legendary rock stars the world ever seen. Besides, they have a plaque in Dartford already (ask Bill Wyman).

Huh? With or without the statues, their legacy has already been cemented (or bronzed, haha!). They do look great. I’m especially impressed with how she pulled off creating Keith’s hair.

Keith looks fantastic, and the attention to detail of his guitar is remarkable. On the other hand there's Mick with his short hair and funny looking lips/teeth/mouth. His eyes make it appear as if he's afraid of something, and the positioning of the sculptures make it seem as if he is running away from Keith while frightened. Overall though, a great tribute to Keith and Mick, and the artist should be very proud of her work.

She forgot to remove the sixth tuning peg. Otherwise it's a great Micawber. The statues are awesome thumbs up

Edit: Looks like he’s holding down a chord in standard tuning, though smiling smiley

Yes the odd lips give the entire mouth an unrealistic look. And his eyes and eyebrows...there's a sad look of concern, like a deer in headlights...as if he's just seen a ghost.
Not really displaying the confidence, self assurance, and swagger of the greatest front man in rock and roll, but maybe that was the artists goal..to showcase his vulnerability.

Looks great, but Mick has 1973 hair, for some reason.

1973 was first thing that popped into mind seeing the Mick statue. The pose very similar to a '73 European tour photo - fairly sure taken at one of the London shows.

It's a funny mix:

The Keith of the 81/82-Tour - perrfect.

And the funny Mick-Mix:

The hair of the 73 tour.
The face from somebody else or you can also say an interpretation of him.
The microphone and the shoes of the 81/82 tour, The trousers from ??
(gimme some help here)
