Great tune ... And pretty sure that is Steven Tyler in the vid! I guess Slash has a new album coming out, he's always been a favorite guitar player to me. Don't forget, besides G'n'R, he was part of the great Velvet Revolver band1

Not my cup of tea. Only bluesy part in it is the harmonica.

I think the rest of the album might be bluesy-ier than this. This seems like one of the more upbeat ones to be a single, obviously also with the big star power of Brian Johnson to get it the most press.

Guitar work is pretty damn good, imo.

IMO its actually one of his better recorded solos in awhile. Between returning to GNR where he's either sleepwalking through most of those solos cause he's done them a million time, or just noodling around like on Paradise City these days, and his fairly uninspired solos on his two most recent solo albums, this solo that felt constructed, purposeful, and full of energy was a breath of fresh air to finally hear from him again.

I know some other band that's playing on that day in L.A., too…

thumbs up for keeping the blues idiom alive!

The production sounds a tad bland to my ears but at least Slash does not hide behind a wall of distortion to play his solo so that is commendable.

It’s a pretty good version aside from the solo.

I've always loved the way Slash playing...also, his and their(G'N'R) nod to the Rolling Stones(Wild Horses intro to Patience), Jimi Hendrix(Voodoo Chile intro to Civil War) is just beatiful...
I can't wait to hear album, this is a dream come true, for me.

Ticket prices are surprisingly reasonable in LA. Worst seats are $42 after fees, next level up is $70 after fees, next is $125 after fees. Then you obviously get the ridiculous $200+ premium options, though there are some $150 and $185 seats in there as well that aren't absurd.

I'm still gonna wait for a setlist before committing to that price, but $125 or less for Slash and Warren Haynes is way more reasonable than I was expecting.

I do not remember listening to Brian's voice so clear !
Producing may be "clinical new style", but it's quite good to my ears. All instruments are clear.
A good tribute to Jimi and the Wolf, if you ask me.
Thanks for sharing.

Slash with Myles Kennedy etc. (GA) next month is just 70 Euros (in Germany)

I saw him at the Beacon last year and tickets were like $150. Which was a far cry from the $50 shows he used to play with his solo band.

Will GNR release a new lp this year?

Re: OT: Guns N Roses stuff

absolutely not. they will never ever release a new record.

since the reunion (2016), Duff has released 2 records, Slash also - and is about to release a third one.

who is the weak link? Mr.Rose maybe?
