Pretty cool that she's continuing to change up her set. I feel like it was a given with this new album, but just kinda shows that she's not resting on anything. Cool for European fans.

It's the biggest show on earth now by far, 3:30 of show, 46 songs, 7 from her new album just released, she's on other league.

I have several family members that are fans and while not on my playlist, it's great to see artists delivering for the fans in the way she does. She sets the bar really high, maybe forcing other artists to up their game.

To be clear, I don't count the Stones (of course) as needing to play that game and from what of scene of the first shows, fantastic show.

Colleague's daughter flew from Vancouver to Paris this week to catch one of her shows. It was cheaper than flying to Toronto to see her! Tickets were purchased before the 3 Vancouver shows were announced.

I have friends who are seeing her in Paris in a few weeks. They said it was way easier than trying for anything here. And hey, gives them a reason to travel, so win-win.

That's cool! My family lucked out and got tickets in Vancouver.

Maybe this will be her "White Album", her "Exile". Those albums weren't really understood at the time too.

Albums like this have many songs to jack up the streaming numbers. Same thing with Beyonces Cowboy Carter or those albums by Morgan Wallen. They’re not misunderstood double albums, they’re playlists… pick the songs you want, don’t worry about the others, put them in a bowl and shuffle. Albums are old fashioned and pretty soon a thing of the past. Streaming ruined it, but here we are.

People have been saying the album is dead or will die for quite some time now. Yet people continue to record albums (regardless of format).

This is no different from another band we all like and follow. I know folks who caught it in Vegas. At this point it is a personal decision whether to go or not. Government regulations have passed regardless of which side you are on. If someone is concerned, we all know what should be done to minimize personal risk. The risk from attending a Taylor Swift show, a Rolling Sones show, a Kid Rock show or a tractor pull is essentially the same.

Some people continue with wearing masks when they attend a concert, a sports event etc.

While I give a nod to daspy’s general observations on the current Covid situation in regard to attending a mass event like concerts and festivals, I’d like to take this opportunity to offer my views here on the IORR forum.

Covid is downplayed these days. The information about Covid is not reported sufficiently by the media just now, but that does not mean it does not exist any more. I hear of another surge. And professionals have warned about new variants from time to time (BA.2.86, JN.1, FLiRT, KP.2, KP.3 and so on). With safety measures and regulations being lifted, people have started to take it less serious, gone too lax and behave nonchalantly. See the footage of a young girl and her comment imbedded in the El Nacional article I linked to above — "I've had Covid since the Eras tour and acting like it was nothing, thinking it was congestion.” Obviously she mixes with other people, knowing she is carrying the virus. And the recent interview of Lady Gaga casually admitting that she carried on performing at several concerts continuously despite that she tested positive (her show had her stepping down to the floor and wading through the crowd), causing dismayed to enraged reactions among the fans.

Covid is not just another cold.

I read your posts. You don't discuss Taylor Swift's musical attributes only your take on so called Covid issues.
You really should not believe all you read in the controlled media or beneficiaries unless you are one of them.

Whilst I do not want anyone to suffer medical complications from what ever ailments
they may have.
If you want to discuss so called viruses. Taylor Swift has just finished a three night stint in Edinburgh my home city to over 220,000 people. I will await to see how many 'Thousands come down with Flu like issues.

Hey Stones fans who have attended the 2024 concerts, how many people have you
heard that have came down with Flu type issues ?

How do you know the media sources I quoted are “controlled” or they are “beneficiaries”? And if they are, who controls them and what advantage they derive?

Admittedly I’m no expert on all things Covid, but a few quick searches on the internet would give you enough clues to your questions as well as a conviction that it is too early to behave like Covid is over. The following URLs (all recent information sources) are just a few samples.
