Just wondering. I thought these have been released already here in Canada. I can't find them anywhere. Even our Starbucks came up empty re the Rareties CD.

Have they in fact been released here yet???

I went in to the local Future Shop in British Columbia last Tuesday expecting to pick them up by they didn't have them. I went into another store and their computer showed that they would be released this coming Tuesday. I had mentioned that I saw on the net other people in the States had already bought them. Not sure why the delay in Canada.

I can't play the rareties cd in my car :-(

Considering the fact that so many on this board seemed disappointed with the content on Rarities, it is indeed ironic that many others can't wait to buy it.

Not everyone has EVERY song that the Stones recorded.

For those in Europe and elsewhere who have had to wait, you will be pleased with the content. Enjoy!

I'm disappointed they include more real rarities,
but it's still a good listen if you just judge it
on it's own merits. And yes, I too have everything
on it already too........................

I've got a great boot - looks so legit too - called Everything's Turning to Gold. It has the non-album Studio B sides from 1078-1998. It includes much of what's on the new Rareties CD. Beautiful packaging.

I got my copy from amazon.ca last week. It's available in Canada!!

What then IS the point?

Thru & Thru live,Through The Lonely Nights,Beast Of Burden live (?),& Let It Rock are all being released for the first time on an official cd.There are four songs that should not have been included on it but,it's more useful than Jump Back to people who already have all of the official cds.

The COLLECTION. Simple.

the sound on rarities is very good ,imo

I for one, and apparently I am the only one, like this collection because:

1. Let it Rock
2. Harlem Shuffle and
3. Miss You

I have all on vinyl, so simply don't play, though I do enjoy them

4. Mixed Emotions

I have never heard, and this is maybe the best version of an otherwise ordinary Stones song I have to date heard

5. Wish I'd Never Met you
6. Fancy Man Blues and
7. Anyway You Look at it

I, likewise, have never heard, and I really like all...

8. Through the Lonely Nights

I have, but had never bothered diggin out to play.

9. Thru and Thru

Is a great song, and a great version, that I' never get out the Four Licks DVD just to play, so that's good too!

So, 9 out of 16 that I am very thankful for to have in one collection.

There are another 6 that re all great, just 'not so rare', so, again, I don't mind.

But, gee this version of Tumbling Dice is awful!!!! Splice and cut and not very well!!!

ABB Deluxe aint out downunder yet!

count me in - I heard it all over a few times last weekend as it's available here (Austria) since Nov. 25 - IT'S PURE FUN - alone the fact to have Trough The Lonely Nights and Let It Rock for the first time on an official CD is worth the money.

No B sides on Itunes. Maybe I'll have to wait for the release of rarities.
