PIT area Madrid vs Munich

I've seen some pictures on this board of the venues so far. From what I've seen was that the PIT in Munich seemed much smaller than the PIT in Madrid. Also in Madrid it seemed much more crowded (already the case a few hours before showtime). Maybe the weather had something to do with it?
My experience with the PIT in the last tours is that it is quite relaxed and you never have to fight for your spot (not talking about the front rows at the rail). You can go in and out for a beer and still have a good spot with enough room around you, when you come back.
Maybe IORR-ians who attended both shows in the PIT can shed some light on this?

Pit in Madrid was heavily overcrowded, the worst compared to all my previous pit experiences.
