Good old gossip. Seems people cannot do without it. That's fine, but it's as OT as it gets.

Watched a couple of minutes of trial earlier...
Johnny getting a bit testy and irritated when he's reminded of repeatedly using the term "bloodbath",
and then saying "she will hit the wall hard", along with something about he and Amber's relationship "hitting the wall"....
Lots of wall hitting it seems, and that's about as much I could watch...it's like watching a freak show...

Maybe the part about "hitting a wall" reminded you of something rather unpleasant. I think there is a small thread going on about that topic

Yes calipachangero, I thought the same thing when I heard the "hit the wall" phrase repeatedly...seems Johnny wants to be like Keith and the Stones so much even if it means hitting walls!!!
At least with the Stones though, there has been no "bloodbath", and no one has been physically or psychologically abused in the process of making a new record...as far as we know anyways...
Another thing this trial and the Stones supposed new album seem to have in common though - they're both trainwrecks...

Howard Stern Calls Out Johnny Depp’s ‘Overacting’ and Accent While Testifying Against Amber Heard
Stern
Howard Stern called out Johnny Depp for “overacting” while Depp testified against Amber Heard during the former couple’s defamation trial, which has been livestreamed on various platforms since April 11. Depp is suing Heard for defamation after she alluded to their alleged abusive relationship in an op-ed piece written for The Washington Post. Heard’s legal team reportedly tried to block cameras from livestreaming the trial, which was approved by Judge Penney Azcarate. Depp’s team did not publicly challenge the decision. “The reason he wanted that on — he wanted it televised [because] that’s what narcissists do,” Stern said of Depp while discussing the trial on his SiriusXM radio show (via Mediaite). “They think they can talk their way out of anything. I think Johnny Depp is a huge narcissist and what I mean by that is — he figured, ‘I’ll put this on TV and because I’m so persuasive and because I’m so smart, I’m such a wonderful guy.’” “I’ll play you some clips from the Johnny Depp trial. If he isn’t acting — I mean, he’s so overacting because he’s writing his own material as he goes along,” Stern continued. “You know, I gotta tell you, he’s wrong. He shouldn’t be putting this on TV in any shape.”
Stern agreed with his co-host Robin Quivers that the trial will not save Depp’s career. “That’s what narcissists do, [they say], ‘I will charm the pants off of America at the trial.’ No you won’t! This will not go well,” Stern said. “It’s not going well for you, it’s not going well for her. It’s not going well for anybody. You sound like two battling children.” “It’s just coming off really badly,” Stern added. “Johnny Depp testified in court for two days last week. Two days. Think about that, lots of room to embarrass yourself. Two full, @#$%& days! First of all, his difficulty in speaking the English language is fantastic…And the accent. First of all, isn’t he from like the South of the Midwest? Johnny Depp was born in Kentucky. Does that sound like a guy from Kentucky?”
Exactly as offering legal critique as if he knows what he is talking aboutQuote

I will also add that he reminds me of Rush as in the all knowing sharing with us dumb mortals who don't know any better . Howard sold out to Sirius XM and lost more than half of his audience . As in who cares what he says .Quote

Can you believe it?-He’s become the person he once would laugh about. He actually thinks we don’t know it’s a wig.Howard we know, and that aging trophy wife works harder for the money than any of his other employees
Before he sold out that guy could dissect pop culture with the skill of a surgeon.
Now it’s just sad, his take on this is so lazy and predictable, he has turned into Imus and Larry King combined.
“They’re coming off like children “ - because it’s usually little kids that are throwing vodka bottles in mansions and suing each other for $50 million.
Then his usual shtick- “why does Depp talk like that, he’s acting” when one of the most revealing things was when being secretly recorded Depp was just like on tv. At one point He even had a crazy hat and sunglasses on in his own kitchen.
Meanwhile in the “ trending “ section on Netflix two movies have appeared, the cocaine story Blow and Donnie Brasco.in the crime section Public Enemies has popped up.
