Are Flygbussarna Airport Coaches reliable to travel to the center of Stockholm?
Is there heavy traffic from Arlanda Airtport to the center?
Maybe Arlanda express train is preferable?
Flygbussarna are reliable.
Traffic depends on the time of day. But this is vacation time in Sweden, so should be fine.
Arlanda Express is the fastest (18 minutes) and most comfortable alternative, but also the most expensive.
Commuter train is the cheapest alternative. Takes 40 minutes to central station.

So, from what I read on this board, there are three common options to travel from the Arlanda airport to Stockholm city. Below are these three options with the costs for return to the airport and the travel time. Of course in case of commuter train, it may be more efficient to buy a travel card for one or more days (in case you stay longer in the city). Maybe some local fans can check this, I have this info from the different web pages, but may be not 100% accurate).
Arlanda Express: 579 SEK, 18 minutes one way
Flygbussarna: 189 SEK, 48 minutes one way
SL commuter train: 76 SEK, 40 minutes one way
differences in price are huge. But of course, you pay for more comfort and speed.

You got prices wrong. These are the right prices
Arlanda Express: 579 SEK, 18 minutes Round trip
Flygbussarna: 189 SEK, 48 minutes Round trip
SL commuter train: 169 SEK (that's with Arlanda airport additional fee), 40 minutes one way

Thanks dimrstone for the corrections. I thought the prices I mentioned were already for round trip, only the duration is for one way. But now it should be clear. Did not know about the additional fee for the commuter train.

In 2017 you could pay the Arlanda airport additional fee for departure when you arrived. So you did't have to queue again when leaving Stockholm.

From Skavsta airport just outside Nyköping? Airport coach (Flygbussarna).
From central Nyköping? Train (sj.se).

You can buy tickets directly from SL-Journey planner and tickets app.
[apps.apple.com]
Also I believe that you can use your contactless credit-debit card instead.

Personally I don't think it's a problem. But Livenation or Ticketmaster can answer that. Please Contact them
