that was my first hotmail-account name in 1998. all other combinations with my real name were taken. i just thought it sounded nice somehow.

I like obscure or semi-obscure references so I chose "Rocky Dijon." No offense to Luis Jardim or Lenny Castro, but they're just not the same.

Just pulled up a name from my ass! Had been looking in to this page on and off for along time. Then, suddenly, I decided to log in to comment on a thread. By the time I was approved by the administrator that thread was no longer urgent... . For some reason the name Stone Age (which I intended to have) wasn't possible (capial letters, spcacebar?). So I settled with Stoneage. For better or for worse!

I went with an obscure hockey reference: Ab DeMarco was a defenseman with the New York Rangers in the early '70s, who never cracked their lineup for any extended period.

Happy is my favourite Keith's song. I wanted my nick here to be Happy, but when I registered, it told me the name was already taken (but there is no Happy, right?). So I added 24, because when I was creating an e-mail account once, I put my name there, it was taken and the server suggested me my name with 24 added. So when I registered here on IORR, it was the first thought it came to my mind.

whitem8 is a play on white mate, the moniker that my Sri Lankan friends gave me in the village I was living in while in The Peace Corps. Good memories.

I didn't think you were an animation kinda kid, but it's all I could find when I googled a Rockman picture. I like your avatar pic. Very cool. That speaks for itself.

It just popped up in my head. It's swedish for tone therapy wich is some chinese healing method. But to me it has more to do with the healing aspects of music.

Rockman in Japan and Mega Man in the rest of the world. One of the best videogame series for the old Nintendo Entertainment System back in the 80's. They have got some amazing music in them as well. smiling smiley

I'm like a Mississippi bullfrog, sitting on a hollow stump
I got so many women Lord I don't know which way to jump

(Flip, Flop & Fly – ‘Big’ Joe Turner, 1955)

...and the signature is from Green River (by CCR, 1969):

["I can hear the Bullfrog calling me..."]

One of the most influential blues guitarists and blues composers, one of the "fathers" of The Rolling Stones, e.g. "Stop Breaking Down" and "Love in Vain", marvellous lyrics like "... and the blue light was my baby and the red light was my mind ...".
