I gotta say, the novelty factor is really starting to wear thin.
I was in yesterday - for about 2 minutes [yawnnn…] Can’t disagree. The area is pretty steeped in Stones history though, with the former Bricklayers Arms just a few short blocks east at Duck Lane and the former site of the Marquee Club up on Oxford St. Just take it all in…

I was intrigued by the fact you can load music on it, sort of combo ipod-speaker

Not one of them sounded any good. I found them to be too much work, and they didn't store music, just a speaker. I found something else that's much better, some kind of "tower" speaker you can hook to whatever if out walking, I guess.

Hi Everyone--I am going to Tokyo this weekend and will of course go to the RS NO.9/Universal Music store. I am not a collector, just a big fan. Is there anythign in particular I should be on the lookout for? Thanks!

They're not cheap these Japan-only releases, with the shipping, proxy fees, etc. It gets quite pricey, but my hope is that they become worth even more!! Really would have loved that live cd box, or the Brussels Carnaby!

I’ve been to that store. It was just after Hackney Diamonds came out. I was at a restaurant nearby with my girlfriend and on the way home we found it. I was flipping through the Stones stuff and the owner came up to me and asked what I was looking for. I asked if he had the new Stones record. I said I already ordered it but was curious to physically see it. He said something like if it’s a Rolling Stones record, I’ll always have it Next time come here
