OT: Julian Bream R.I.P.

Julian Bream, one of the great classical guitarists of the 20th century, passed away today, age 87.

Julian Bream was a wonderful musician and guitarplayer - he inspired many compositions for his instrument. He played the lute in a wonderful way. Bream was a unique artist. A very English man. As he pointed out once: "You cannot be less Spanish than me" - and for that reason he had a unique approach to play Spanish music. His Dowland is fascinating. Julian Bream - may he rest in peace.
