Would be a perfect time to drop something, a single followed by an album would be awesome, and get a ton of attention right now.

They had 6-7 complete new songs already in March 2019, this must be one of this songs and if that title is correct, well no surprise if it's released now.

Living in a Ghost Town...can't help but think of the Specials' classic tune Ghost Town.

Immediately thought of that tune also Captain because of the title, but hope it's not a cover (and doubt it will be).
Time for some new and original Stones tunes..., and please leave the classic Specials tune alone!

I won’t reveal him but he works in the industry and is based in North America.
I have been friends with him for years and worked with him in radio around 20 years ago

I reached out and was told the news is rubbish.

Deathgod seems reasonably sure this is legit and Soldatti seems to think it's plausible.

Wait and see, I suppose. It's always nice to be wrong where these things are concerned.

It certainly makes sense after their appearance on the viri thingamajig. Although this is pretty quick after the performance so it must have been planned beforehand.

Its funny how everyone thinks of the Specials Ghost Town. That tune has been running through my head ever since this all started. That and Fun Boy Three Lunatics Have Taken Over the Asylum.

I'm going to preorder the 12" vinyl right now, in a write in campaign to Amazon.

A single would've generated buzz for the tour, scheduled to begin a couple weeks from now...

Other artists have dropped new material without any notice in recent years so the Stones might be joining in on that marketing tactic as well. If it is true, it should generate a lot of attention with their recent performance on "One World - Together At Home." I truly hope this is true!!!!!!!!
