I don't know how you can consider that song, or anything this tour worthwhile...

Just read the WISDOM and the MUSIC INSIGHT that you get from IORR board members, and you will soon realize why this song is just so very bad !!!

"It's just that demon life has got me in it's sway..."

Thank you very much for this song. But it shows once more, that Ron Wood is out of the band in the moment. Please, hear the solo, wrong notes in the beginning and then a boring series of notes which has nothing to do with music. I don't understand how the lacking of the any solo guitar can be hidden during the next months.

OUCH - Woodys solo is terrible and a good example of why pay 450 to hear that
attempt at a solo. Thanks for the opportunity to listen anyway.

I can do better someone tell Woody the chords are the D A G back to D and the
chorus A to D - maybe he can play something that sounds correct in that Key.

Name me a tour where this has not happened at some time? I know I have heard these screw ups on boots starting in 1969, even when Vibratto boy was in the band.

Yes, we don't say that Ron Wood is a bad guitarist, we say that he is playing plainly nothing but nonsense in many songs during this tour (and on the second leg of the Licks Tour at least). I think, if he isn't able to add something new to the songs spontaneously in the moment, he should rehearse his solo acts and play them in a similar manner during the following tour gigs.

Hey you like these lyrics I wrote about John Lennon, the music is in the key of D

Visions of Life :

As I look up into the sky seeing the trees and birds and flys
flying free wish it was me no it cant be

Instead Im down here living in hell trying to tell people whats going on all
they do is hang around not even listening to any of my sounds

As I grow older my thoughts are dying i see the same faces that I once saw maybe they were right and maybe I was wrong you just cant say anything in one damm song

When Im buried and lying dead maybe some people will get a clear head and see
the things I once once and think about it so much more

2005 is here people are in a state of fear thinking about what lies ahead
keeping there thoughts locked in their heads.

In the year 2006 will man still be alive I guess we will wait for the judgement
day and wait for john to come down and say Life will be okay give peace a chance.

Thanks to the Stones to play Dead Flowers. Hope they will play it in Europe. Had the opportunity to hear it only once in Paris at the Palais des Sports .That was back in 1970 just before the release of Sticky Fingers. They also played Brown Sugar and Bitch. Mick Taylor played tremendous solos as well as Jim Price and Bobbey Keyes. The show lasted no more 1 hour 15.Ronnie tries but will never be able to have that special virtuosity and melodic lines of Mick T. Anyway and again thanks to the Stones to play that jewel again. Will we hear Gimme Shelter ?

thanks for the song
i was at this show, and the whole show had kind of been on simmer up to this point, something was lacking, and somehow from this song on the show kicked into a higher gear. im not a ronnie hater, but i do agree he really botched every solo for the first songs or so.
tumbling dice was the only song that i would say he ruined though.

Listen to Ronnie with the Faces
or the Stones in the 70's. In large
part the messy technical playing
is a part of his feel. Nothing
much has changed. The Stones
have pretty much always
been sloppy at best.
