What IORR Superfans or you know of any who are regularly recognised in the crowd by a Rolling Stone member and acknowledged by either been pointed at, a wave, a smile...or even better still with a few words of acknowledgement over the mic

Terry aka "Rockman" was acknowledged by Keith during a Stones show. Seriously. He made a reference to "Crashbox Lust" one of Terry's amazing various artists compilations which (licensing issues aside) stand up to the best of Rhino Records in their indie heyday in terms of content, quality, and packaging.

I remember one time, during the last show of a tour, must have been in America may be, Mick said on stage: "Anyone from Norway?". I thought that was nice. Most people in the world do not know what or where Norway is really.
Then I remember another time, it was Cologne 1999, Mick said "Some (of you) went to more shows than us!" That was the show where they had Leah and several other family members on stage, last show of that tour. I knew I had been to every show and every rehearsal and more than that, so I sort of felt he was talking about me.

Reminds me of the story that took place during Dylan's touring year 2000. A group of superfans would regularly be front row show after show. In a pure "Dylanesque" reaction, Bob, upon seeing the same faces in front of him night after night, had them banned from the venues he played!

yea Superfans have been acknowledged in an around about sort of way I suppose, but not personally acknowledged - One of my more usual Stones stats
