You'll remain the guy I pick up the cool words from. Hey hey, you got me googlin'

That's how I felt when I was called "bloviated."

You'll wear that with pride

What IORR Superfans or you know of any who are regularly recognised in the crowd by a Rolling Stone member and acknowledged by either been pointed at, a wave, a smile...or even better still with a few words of acknowledgement over the mic

Does Bill Wyman saying hello to me from the stage at the start of a Rhythm Kings show count?

Terry aka "Rockman" was acknowledged by Keith during a Stones show. Seriously. He made a reference to "Crashbox Lust" one of Terry's amazing various artists compilations which (licensing issues aside) stand up to the best of Rhino Records in their indie heyday in terms of content, quality, and packaging.

I remember one time, during the last show of a tour, must have been in America may be, Mick said on stage: "Anyone from Norway?". I thought that was nice. Most people in the world do not know what or where Norway is really.

Then I remember another time, it was Cologne 1999, Mick said "Some (of you) went to more shows than us!" That was the show where they had Leah and several other family members on stage, last show of that tour. I knew I had been to every show and every rehearsal and more than that, so I sort of felt he was talking about me.

And our next song is for the superfans, it's called "Oh no not you again" smoking smiley

Reminds me of the story that took place during Dylan's touring year 2000. A group of superfans would regularly be front row show after show. In a pure "Dylanesque" reaction, Bob, upon seeing the same faces in front of him night after night, had them banned from the venues he played! grinning smiley

Every time Jagger does the pointing finger thing I feel recognized.
And when he goes "Say yeah!" he must mean me too.

There's the dude who lives in Marseille. He's a super fan. He was part of the Sympathy for the Devils website. I think it was all in French. I hung out with him at the two Dublin shows in 2005. I forgot his name, but we drank Guinness together along with a couple of other guys.

What about the guy who said in 2002 to Beach "It's a shame they didn't rehearse "Parachute Woman" in Toronto", to find out they started to rehearse that song the same Saterday evening in Boston and to perform it the next (Sun)day at the Orpheum Theatre?

Are these compilations for your own enjoyment, or do you actually sell them?

In Edinburgh '99 Mick had come off the stage and was walking in front of the rail slapping hands with fans. He turned and started walking my direction (Keith side of course) doing the same, put his hand out to me and as we shook hands he leaned in putting his hand on my shoulder and said "thanks for coming, that's a long way to go." I presume he remembered my face from many US shows that year (let's be honest, there are many of the same faces at the front).

Wiltern '02 Keef handed me 2 picks. At the end of the show he told me "you're the one that keeps me going motherfukkker, it's you." That show is hands down my highlight.

Potash, who grew up in Cherry Hill, N.J., has been a die-hard Stones fan since grade school.
Back then, “we didn’t talk to the Beatles kids because they were the goody-two-shoes, and
we were the guys who got into trouble,” he says. Potash will always associate “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” with the raging hormones and angst of adolescence …….

HHHaaaaaaaaaa good one Doug …..
