Saw the same thing on San Diego pits... Sorry...

Did get LDs. So, I guess I should feel "lucky."

I am really bummed. All I wanted this tour was one pit ticket for San Diego. On Wednesday's presale, I could have (unless someone else would have "beat me to it") VIP pit, but I thought for once in my life, I won't panic and I'll hold out for face pit. I regret that big time now.

@ JadedFaded - you eventually might be able to find one on TM, and if all else fails there, you can check stubhub, etc....might be some fair/decent prices closer to the show.
Otherwise, there's still some scattered singles at face value in sections behind Pit - bought one yesterday and now very glad I did....

you gotta be kidding me, i wanted atlanta lucky dips and now i have 2 for detroit, UGHHHHH

Everyone who got Lucky Dip tickets better look at their confirmation!

Due to Ticketmaster having a bad link they may have Detroit tickets in MANY cities.

Here's me clicking on Tampa and getting the Detroit ticket page and my Tampa (Detroit) ticket confirmation >>>

Call TM. They have a grace period I believe for tickets bought in error.

Keep trying for tickets. Just for fun checked in to Vancouver and had face value pit 2 tickets come up after checking out different areas on the seat map.

Everybody who tries "for fun" hinders those who are actually trying to buy tickets for a particular show.

Thanks, Hairball. For zip code, where there was no pit, I was in the 22nd row up front and had so many tall people in front of me that I saw nothing. Was a terrible concert for me. At least with pit, I can get in line super early and be up front and see better. I will wait for now, but my disappointment is extreme.

Ah yeah JadedFaded, San Diego Zip Code was chaotic everywhere on the floor- I was in a similar area but being 6'2 I had no problems.
Don't give up hope...might be disappointed now, but if there's a will...ya just never know...there might be a way. thumbs up

Yes, they did have links to the wrong city indeed. Thanks.

JF, I know the feeling. This time, I just went for the VIP pit at the pre-sale, having learned from the last leg that certain shows might not have many pits for face. OTOH, not that this will help you feel better, I also got a VIP pit for another show that tuned up Face pits easily today.

As others have said, don't give up. I just wanted to save myself the stress of not knowing. I don't have an Amex card. Thank goodness my income tax refund came in on Wed. Bills, wot?

My friend who bought Detroit by mistake, because of the mixed up links/buttons, just got his tickets refunded. They wouldn't transfer them to Charlotte (the city he wanted) but he did get his money back.

So if that happened to you, contact Ticketmaster. You have a window of time (I think until tonight) to get a refund if it was because of the Detroit SNAFU.

For what it's worth, they're showing Platinum Pits available for San Diego again - way overpriced for me (starting at $899+),
but a sign that there are still some in the stockpile and perhaps some will eventually appear at a more reasonable cost.

Keep checking, especially closer to the show.

Last year, I bought a Pit for NJ1 just a few days before the show. They had been sold out, but then some appeared.

Seeing some decent prices on stub hub, but they say row GA 8. Pit has no rows. How safe is it to buy a pit ticket on stub hub?

Those are Pit tix
GA has all sorts of numbers

Stubhub is expensive but very reliable.

Would still keep looking on Ticketmaster though.
Tix appear all the time

I went through that also. I went in looking for LDs for Cleveland originally. When I went into the queue just before I finalized the transaction I noticed Ford Field Detroit. Was not sure if I selected wrong tab. Had to start from scratch after 35 minutes into it.

The shows I am looking at this time around and for the tickets I like lower level sides ...even with the B stage ....tickets are easy to get and seem to be less expensive than last time around.

Got lucky dips for San Diego (just checked and they are for here, no mix up) and now just got to hold my nerve to get something decent for Vancouver... pit ideally!

Congrats all that got what they wanted, stay strong and resist the inflated prices those who haven’t, the tickets will come to those who wait!!!!

San Diego Pits will drop again at face value. How hard are you willing to work for them? Check all day, every day. They will drop.

I logged in for the pre-sale and I was shocked. I mean yeah we are great about the ticket prices but I cannot believe that main floor tickets are going anywhere from five to $800! And the pit tickets are $1000! Insanity.
