So VIP Meet and Greets, big ticket prices, cutting out players who made the original records shine, just doing it for the money with no real reconciliation or chemistry, no new material, PR bullshit when making media appearances together. Yeah, I can see why Stones fans would call this behavior hypocritical. Thank Clapton our band would never behave that way.

In any case, I know you wrote the above with some measure of affection. But what the Robinson brothers are doing is such a radical departure from their previous incarnation(s). If Steve Gorman hadn’t spilled the beans, I would have been genuinely shocked by today’s tour announcement.

Hairball
"The duo enlisted all-new members that include guitarist Isiah Mitchell of psych-rock band Earthless,
veteran session bassist Tim LeFebvre who appeared on David Bowie’s Blackstar
and keyboardist Joel Robinow and drummer Ojha of prog/psych-pop group Once and Future Band".
Aside from the brothers, all new members?

I wasn't trying to do anything other than get a laugh, Mr. Belli.
I feel like he's been a douche since the moment he hit the scene.Quote

Listen to the first 5 minutes. Clearly Chris is just a total liar. Its funny to hear the first 5 minutes of him saying he'd never do exactly what this tour is.
Sad, cause he sounds like a cool guy but obviously he's just a massive douche.

Yeah, Chris's story sounds highly embellished at best. I'm not a Stones historian by any stretch, but that sounds like the kind of thing that would become lore amongst fans.Quote

Oh he has. I just don't listen to him talk that much.
Can't find video of the incident he mentions. I wouldn't be shocked if its a made up story.
