As for 'the '81 ticket price, while I do have my ticket stubs somewhere in storage, I did a quick google image search as I couldn't remember either:

Ticketron!! I remember going to Ticketron outlets for concert tickets and sports tickets. There was one at Sears near my home in L.A.

My first Stones concert was my first concert ever.
Hollywood Bowl, July 25, 1966. Tickets were $7.00, $6.00, $5.00, $4.00, and $3.00. I bought a $6.00 ticket. The setlist:
Not Fade Away
The Last Time
Paint It Black
Lady Jane (introduced by Charlie)
Mother's Little Helper
Get Off My Cloud
19th Nervous Breakdown
Satisfaction
The opening acts were Buffalo Springfield, The Standells, and The McCoys.
A month later I saw The Beatles at Dodger Stadium. What a summer!!

Ha yeah Dave G - I remember waiting in line with my older brother for those '81 tickets, and I recall Springsteen tickets were also going on sale at the same time so it was chaos.
Never had liked Springsteen much up to that point, and that might have been the moment when I really couldn't stand him.
I'm also from the L.A. area (born and raised in Santa Monica), but can't recall the exact ticketron location we waited at. Lined up many times for many concerts, and sometimes overnight. It was a bit of a ritual.
Might have been our local Sears, or maybe the Music Plus record store in West L.A., but for some reason I have a vague memory of going to the UCLA location - (that might have been for a different concert though).
Memories start to blur from all those years ago....

Hey Hairball, yes, the memories do get a bit fuzzy! I know it was either Sears or JC Penny where the Ticketron outlet was, but they were all over the L.A. area. I would go to one in Montebello or Monterey Park.
I can't recall where mine was from, I think one of my friends likely purchased it. I do recall the show was on a Friday (or maybe thursday), I went to show #1, the kickoff!
... anyway i also had a Chemistry test, and I lied to the prof that my grandmother died and that I had to go to the funeral. He bought it! He let me take it the following week in his office -- alone!! He left to go to class, so I also got to take out my book and look up some answers. I got an A!

Leonid, great story! It was a win-win for you. Actually, a win-win-win since, presumably, your grandpa didn’t die!

My first Rolling Stones concert also happened to be my first concert of any kind. It was Friday, November 7, 1969.
I was an 18 year old freshman at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado.
The Stones show was the first scheduled date of the 1969 tour, and was presented at the CSU Moby Auditorium, known as Moby Gym.
The ticket cost $7.
BB King was the opening act.
It is not like I remember the set list, so I had to look it up online. The show was short with no encore, as was their policy in the late 60's and early 70's:
01. Jumpin' Jack Flash
02. Carol
03. Sympathy for the Devil
04. Stray Cat Blues
05. Midnight Rambler
06. Under My Thumb
07. Prodigal Son
08. Love in Vain
09. I'm Free
10. Little Queenie
11. Gimme Shelter
12. Satisfaction
13. Honky Tonk Women
14. Street Fighting Man
