Uvell is right wing and so is Brendan - so what? Greta is clearly left wing. She’s not a scientist.

Greta left wing ? Rubbish.

She and her mother are leftists. Do u really think that the Antifa-t-shirt was a mistake? Really?

Yesterday I posted a photo wearing a borrowed T-shirt that says I’m against fascism. That T-shirt can apparently to some be linked to a violent movement. I don’t support any form of violence and to avoid misunderstandings I’ve deleted the post. And of course I am against fascism.

Remember that guy back in '78 and that shirt ?
Although Sweet Sixteen has been played a lot on the tour,he was about 35 back then...and not 16.
A true left wing radical with a mission and a message...
Maybe...not...

It was her mothers tshirt. She is a well known activist/opera singer.

Yes of course she and her mothers PR firm made a miscalculation. Sort of.

You were dropped on your head as kid, right? Yes, the Earth is warming. Yes, you are a douchebag.

Go blow into a balloon.

I just clicked on this thread to see if there was a consensus on the topic, and . . . *tiptoes out again*

Free speech and science. No need for consensus.

No need at all. I was just wondering if there was any agreement on the topic, and discovered via the "free speech" represented by the last few exchanges ^^ that there probably wasn't. winking smiley

If you don't want to pollute... just don't live. But wait! Pollution is 100% natural.

More seriously, the amount of energy required to sustain a city of a million people for a day dwarfs the energy required to put on a rock concert. The average American sitting on the edge of his bed scratching his belly is burning 10,000 watts of power as he stares at the wall. And that power burn is on 24/7, 365 days a year. There is no such thing as being "off the grid." The moment you bicycle over to the supermarket to buy toilet paper you are on the grid.

You should never lose sight of scale. You expend a minuscule amount of extra energy (proportionally) to get a whole bunch of fun. Why not outlaw skiing and drives in the country? We have to live in a rational world where we understand scale and we understand that for every single person in the country, there is a continuous 10,000-watt energy burn just to keep you alive.

You should run an extension cord over to your neighbour's house. The "Dark Grid."
