Talk is Cheap deluxe is something I'm really looking forward to.

I don't know what sort of outtakes are kicking about for Main offender - maybe someone can enlighten me ?

Bit confused as to whether this is for a recording deal or music publishing.
Whatever, BMG are part of the Universal group, I believe?
Wonder if Keith is planning some more solo recordings in the near future..or its just a business deal to tie up some loose ends.

Keith already had his music published by BMG and this deal adds his recordings.
BMG is part of Sony Music and isn't (yet!) connected to Universal.

I thought I had read somewhere...Wiki?....that BMG Music Publishing was part of Universal.

BMG is completely independent and has nothing to do with either Sony or Universal.

Live Wino stuff would be wonderful ..

...Even a vinyl release of the original live album would make me quite happy.

My only concern is the Deluxe Edition is vinyl and CD with liner notes.

CROSSEYED HEART is not included. This deal covers through VINTAGE WINOS only and specifies 2010 is the cut-off.

A TALK IS CHEAP release could easily add "Run, Run, Rudolph" and "The Harder They Come" along with "Make No Mistake" with the extended drum intro. The remixes of "Big Enough" were amateurish and dreadful and hopefully won't surface.

A complete HOLLYWOOD PALLADIUM would be terrific.

A MAIN OFFENDER release could easily add "Key to the Highway" and the live tracks from the Town & Country that were on the "Eileen" CD single.

An expanded VINTAGE WINOS would be terrific with "Sure the One You Need," "Oh Lord," "Still a Fool," and "You Win Again" along with "Run, Run Rudolph."

Not banking on outtakes at all though they do exist and not just the few that circulated.

Interesting that Mick, Keith, and Ronnie attended a salute to Joyce Smyth last week. No one seems to have picked up on that yet.

When was the solo version of "One More Shot" recorded? Maybe that surfaces as an extra/bonus.

Peace,
Mr DJA

Wouldn't tracks like Breakin', (She Did Know) What She Wanted and Tell Me What You Wanna Hear be more natural choices? Perhaps the instrumental How I Wish, too?

Can't find any info about this ?

As for the Keith box sets, dunno, it seems it was hard enough for him and Jordan to cull together enough materiel to fill the records, he's not "prolific" like Mick ;-) I don't think anyone's particularly interested in the 10+ versions of jams that surfaced as early as 1990, stuff like "She Put The Mark On Me" or even the endless "Almost Hear You Sigh"...

I'd take She Put The Mark On Me, edited/touched up with great sound any day!

Here it is, at the right speed for a change..

Really rather prefer: What she wanted, Dandelion. Good stuff. Great to listen to Keith again.

Of course I'd love to see official outtakes surface, but the last few Stones reissues have made me wonder if a vinyl/CD/book combo isn't more likely what is meant by deluxe physical reissues.

My speculation on bonus tracks and a complete Palladium show was just that. For that matter, Don Smith recorded the entire Town & Country gig or the Boston show that was aired in Japan. There's no shortage of material if they want to do this up nicely.
