They are - ‘Early Entry’ and stuff like that.
There were people entering as soon as 3.30pm (I saw that whilst queing right next to that for the litho and the one and only merch stand, as fas as I knew/ know off, that sold ‘em. )

Marseille - the place I saw the Stones for the first time in my live, back in 2003!
How time flies by... With getting Pit A for my lucky dips in Berlin for my first Show 2018, I thought for a moment to just leave it there. That would be my final and absolute great Rolling Stones experience to remember for the rest of my life. But now, reading BV Tour Blog and your entusiasm right here, I wish I was there and feeling so happy about the Show on saturday, although be it on the stands way back. Really feeling great as a Stones Fan right now!!

That's a remarkable piece of craft.

That's 5 strings like Keith often uses on open tunings, but with octave strings like we know from the 12strings. 20.5 frets. Then, it's an acoustic guitar - very interesting!

I wonder, what he would play with that.
Maybe even tonight??

looks like GC is much bigger than GA

As Nate said earlier, the sides at this place are HUGE, towering far above the top of the stage set. A nosebleed seat here wouldn't be much fun, whereas in venues like Southampton, every seat was a good one.

that might indicate an interesting surprise. Play With Fire comes to my mind…
(on the other hand - the only acoustic song on the No Filter tour was performed at the very first show. So why do something completely new for this leg towards the end of the tour/in Marseille?)

still on the other hand: getting a new 'toy' doesn't mean that you play it immediately (at least not in public)

Nice idea!

But PWF is played in standard tuning, right? So he would use a regular 12string here, not a 10string thing. ... Puzzling!

pit is very empty – thus I guess not too many Lucky Dippers got lucky (usually the are amongst the first who show up in the pit)

That's actually significantly worse than the LD seat I originally got in Cardiff before I sneaked into GA. That's like a man made mountain !

FOS is huge. GA seems pretty bad. With these four speaker towers directly at the barrier there is not much space for GA front row.

What a zoo to access the stairs! There were tiny entrances and only facing the stairs so all the people who started queuing up on their way from the Metro had only one entrance, ridiculous. Should have been gated to make the queues start higher up...

Oh well, in Pit B, chatted a bit with JJF59, the wait starts !

It's nearly as bad as GA in Paris 2014. Keith's side of GC is much busier than Ronnie's, probably because that's where people are entering.

So is there GC there? Is it the entire first half of the field? If so, GA looks pretty lousy. And yeah, those sides - vertigo!

GC is indeed the 1st half of the pitch with GA right back at the Sound Towers. GA is so hit or miss. In Southampton and Cardiff it was excellent but here looks rubbish. Very good at the U Arena in Paris last year too.

Omg them side seats are far to high for me, i be crawling along on my hands n knees,
plus i would want parachute fitted.
i like to jump around when the stones hit the stage, but i be afraid to move at that height.
Cant wait to see the stadium fill up,its gonna be a buzz.
