Still can't get over how massive that stadium is - evidently capacity is 60,000 but it looks twice that many.
And the design itself makes it look like an enormous spaceship carrying people to another galaxy!

From what i can hear in the clips so far the band sound really good and playing those Rockers faster now , as they should be played.
The French audience were really enthusiastic by the look of it, much better than the last show, crappy set list aside the boys are Rocking hard. Thanks for all the links and feeds, enjoyed that.

PS. some really awesome pictures too, love the one of Mick and Keith above with Keith's devilish smile.

Back at the hotel, what can I say...it was POWERFUL!

We didn't make it to the pit until 7:30 due to the terrible filtering system at the foot of the steps. Still, it was pretty mellow and empty in there so we made it to the second row right in the angle, amazing! We always had a lot of room around us too, nice.

The boys were in good shape and spirit, no sitting down for Keith like at Paris 3. It seemed Mick was struggling with his voice during JJF after shouting "ce soir on vous met le feu !" but it was maybe just his earpiece. Anyway he recovered for the end of the show.

The highlight was a wonderful "Fool to Cry", Mick sang it right next to us too so ze could enjoy his peerless falsetto, I was floored.

Love these guys!

Yeah, I think it was his earpiece. He grimaced at Chuck as the song started, and Chuck guided Mick into the song by mouthing "I was born ..." It seemed Mick's vocal completely died at the end of Satisfaction. Great save by the underappreciated Bernard.
