Seems to me that popularity is under estimated. I recommend the addition of more dates, including Florida.

They have added more dates, including three in Florida in December. Best source of info is Chris Hillman's Facebook. Here's the link:

Hey Rockman -

What a great read and video. Wow it seems, like folks would show decency and return his guitar. I guess it is asking too much for people not to steal.

Cool review here from the Ryman:

Show Review: Ryman Sweetheart of the Rodeo in Nashville!

"What made it even better is they were being backed by Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives, who, if you didn’t already know, is the baddest band in the land.
Their superb musicianship and reverence for the genre made them the perfect accomplices for this undertaking."

Ten shows left people!

Just back from the Atlanta show. Fantastic concert, so happy I went! They had me from opening with My Back Pages until ending with Turn Turn Turn.

From the tour opener in July, Marty Stuart's guitarist Kenny Vaughan teasing just a little bit of "Eight Miles High" at the beginning of Marty's song "Time Don't Wait."

Absolutely sublime show in Jersey last night. Liked the recent setlist tweak that swapped out "American Girl" for the McGuinn/Petty "King Of The Hill".

"More shows?"

From Roger Mc Guinn's interview with Jay Lustig of njarts.net:

Q: I know you’ve got Sweetheart shows scheduled through December. Is there are thought of continuing to do them after that, or will that be it?

A No, because the 50-year thing expires in December.

Yes, well, now they're mulling over continuing the tour into next year:

[From ultimateclassicrock.com]: The tour ends on Dec. 19, but the pair hasn't ruled out continuing into next year. “There's a lot of markets we're not getting to,” Hillman said. “I don't know if it's something you can stop doing and then start it up again six or eight months later. … Anything could happen – and I hope it does. I haven't had this much fun in 40 years.”

McGuinn seems steadfast. He's just announced some 2019 solo shows.

The Byrds’ ‘Sweetheart of the Rodeo’ was resurrected Monday night, and it was a complete joy

Does anybody know if there are plans to release this on Blu-day? I would love to have a keepsake of this great concert.
