Some years ago I went to see a special double feature which included their TV special recorded in Machu Picchu and Los Saicos' Saicomania documentary. It was great to watch on a big screen those beautiful scenes, although I thought the Saicos' documentary was better.

rocks like a Saab with a straight-out exhaust system but Hal just
aint got that punky Southern crooked-lip drawl that makes Rockabilly sizzle ….. Good but not essential …..

Rolling Stones Hampton 81. 3 LP red vinyl. I’ve got a good setup with a Fluance turntable, and this show sounds phenomenal on vinyl.

Just a simple question to you : what is CD do I need to get to start out with Rosetta Tharpe. Listening to it on youtube and it's fantastic stuff.

reasonable overview of Hooker stuff … eeerrr 2-3 unreleased tracks ..
some live stuff ...…. good liner …….. and a good $$$price …..
I grab anything I can by Hooker ….. even the occasional 78's ….
