I have a twin bedded room in Ballsbridge, 4 star hotel, on 16-18 May. free internet. Now not needed. Not cheap at $247 per night, but I can't cancel it. Right by park, in up-market area. 20 minutes by taxi to Croke Park. Anyone interested?? offers considered...

is this still available? So it has two single beds in the room? Might be interested, but may need for the night of the 15th as well. And is it check out on the 18th? My e mail is not hidden. plexi

All tickets still available on Ticketmast, except Pit A .... including this ominous LUCKY Ticket. I emailed TM asking what this is all about, but received no reply eye rolling smiley

I wonder why confused smiley ? Please keep us posted if you get one. If it's a mistake, thry'd have fixed it by now. There's no way that the LD queue will cope with n thousand people turning up with ID, Payment Card & proof of purchase to be verified every single time. It would take too long to get them all in. I reckon it's the GA queue and those turning up early will be offered the chance to fill gaps further forward until they're full (with some unsold places reserved for Lucky Dippers).

This show is really, really diffcult to attend for many travelling fans from foreign countries. Hotel prices are insane. Flight connections are not the easiest either. If I book a flight after work on wednesday afternoon + a decent hotel for two nights, that will cost me about £1000.

For all those people from the south of Germany - there are very cheap flights from Stuttgart and Munich still available via Ryanair. But yes, the thing with a hotel is a problem. I booked a bed in a hostel in Dublin. And that is still expensive.

if you proceed to the checkout the ticket is specified as "SEC LUCKY General admission". Thus I guess it's normal GA

But Pit is specified as General admission too

the confirmation email I received when ordering LD tickets back in March when they first went on sale says: "Seat location: section LUCKY", too. So I guess what's available right now are LD tickets

Print-at-home LD tickets for the price of a GA ticket smiling smiley If anyone tries to buy one - please let us know grinning smiley

question solved – those tickets just disappeared

And no GA either. Only Seats, GC & Pit B now available. No doubt GA will return at some point. Maybe those GA priced "Lucky" tickets were single LDs but why would they let you print them at home??? I think they'll subtly drop some of those seats to a lower ticket price category. That's a ploy they've used before many times.

It’s both sides of Pit, GC snd Seats in all sections. GA will keep disappearing and reappearing. They’ll make it work. The gig will happen, even if the top tier is tarped off and everyone up there is moved down. There are reportedly sound issues up there anyway.

As usual for an opening night, prepare for a rusty but still very enjoyable performance. Setlists tend to be a bit more adventurous on opening night too. All of this was true of Hamburg last year, which I was at. We’ll all have fun thumbs up

Yep. It will be the longest setlist of this tour (as mentioned in another thread by an official - a think the promotor).

It wasn't the promoter. It was (I think) the crew member who's responsible for setting up the stage.

These comments are just to hype up the show and sell tickets. There's no guarantee that any show will be longer than others or that rare songs will be played. And a crew member certainly isn't in a position to make a statement like that.

Still waiting on my collector ticket

Are the penny's shirts offical merch ???

Gig getting close now and I personally can't wait. Only going up to Dublin the day of the show and back home afterwards but for people spending a few days before and after there's a good bit on

Snow Patrol play the Olympia Tues 15th
Of course Ed Sheeran Playing Phoenix Park (A few miles away from Croke Park) the 16th/18th and 19th

Not forgetting the stones rehearsals on the 15th/16th ???. Go for walk around the stadium area never know what u might hear

No, but the Stones would jealously guard their intellectual property... Penneys/Primark aren't gonna leave themselves open to litigation either... I'd say they're licensed, but not tour specific, as I'm no date or venue. Tongue style/colour obviously ties in

Agree, definitely have to be officially licensed. They do have the venue and the city.
Curious if there is anything on the back.. Likely not, but at €9 it's a deal.
