Emotional Rescue. I remember Some Girls when it was new but I think I waited a little while to buy it.

Not sure if it was on the day of release but I bought Exile On Main Street in mid-May 1972. The beauty is that it burnt slowly with its secrets being released gradually over the years. There is still a lot of magic to be found on that album.

The answer should be Dirty Work, but now that I think of it, in the pre-internet age I didn't have a clue of when an album would be released. The first Stones album that I am sure I got on the actual release date was Bigger Bang.

Emotional Rescue, 20th of June 1980 if I am not wrong.

For Black&Blue and Love You Live, I bought them few weeks later, cause I had to find the money,

I bought Some Girls in London in July 1978, because it was cheaper than in Paris.

Voodoo Lounge. I remember it very well. I think I missed Flashpoint by a few weeks or so, and Steel Wheels maybe by a month. For Voodoo Lounge everything lined up perfectly. But it all really started for me with Steel Wheels.

I can't recall if I ever got a record on it's release day. I didn't get A BIGGER BANG until 2 or 3 months after it came out (I was kind of busy).

If I did get one on release day I might've gotten STEEL WHEELS at a Wherehouse Records in Lansing, MI but I'm quite confident I got BRIDGES TO BABYLON on release day (the version with the silly slip case) at Tower Records in New Orleans.
