I have seen this one before. Lots of neck scratching.

Seen it before too. I think Keith is very amiable and honest in the interview. The interviewer is not bad but a bit uptight.
The scratching starts when the pitiless questions comes. Keith tries his best but his body language reveals him.

Its from the BBC "Five Years Work, Twenty Years Hanging Around" Dirty Work special from August 1986. The classic Charlie quote which gave the show its title comes from the same May' 86 video shoot at Elstree Studios. The interviewer is David Hepworth, who's certainly a pretty good journalist and interviewer (for some bizarre reason, when they used the Charlie clip on '25 x 5' they overdubbed the voice of an American interviewer). I think hes playing a bit of Devil's Advocate here to get a reaction. It worked.

It's amazing to think that there was once a time where Keith didn't have to be drunk to be interviewed.

A lifetime of alcoholism and other drug abuse will reduce cognitive function with age, not to mention whatever medication he's on for his head injury.

It's remarkable he's coherent at all nowadays. I daresay he's a bit better now than he was a few years ago.
