I'n not sure why some posters are getting so riled about this. bbj posted what could've been an interesting nugget of info, from a national newspaper, with no boasting of insider-ness. KSC explained succinctly why it was, in fact, not true.
I'm sure many of us like to hear some rumours, you know that after some time one of them gets proved to have been basically true. Perhaps not this one, but also interesting that the Stones are enough of a 'name' in Bolivia to be the focus of the December Fool's joke article.

I didn't believe this because Bolivia is known as very poor and as a contemptuous dictatorship. It's no coincidence that they didn't play La Paz last year - they don't even play Riga or Sofia.
