I need to figure out how to get to this one. Seeing Neil play Rockin' in the Free World would be epic.

The new Canadian dates leave a day off in between shows. Guess he needs his rest nowadays.

He's canceled at least one of the recent tours, seemingly from exhaustion, so wouldn't shock me he doesn't want to mess around with rest. Better safe than sorry.

Just seen that Neil will be playing Glastonbury in the summer, so good news for us in UK as BBC always have great TV coverage.

I will be there.

The first announcement of the line-up is good enough if a mixed bag (as is always the case). And plenty will be added hereafter.
And, after all, Glasto is more about how many, how much you miss rather than you catch. There are already enough good acts I hope to see.

I will definitely catch Neil playing on the glorious Pyramid on Saturday.

Not sure how he can call it 'BTO' without Frank Turner.

Should just be called 'Randy's BO'.grinning smiley

I'm glad to see Wolf Alice gets a respectable billing by Glasto. They're a great young (debut album was 2015) guitar rock band I highly recommend. Ellie Joff Joel & Theo remain underappreciated over here in the states, however, IDK why.

Their low profile here has meant I've had an easy time seeing them 4X, though, so there is that.

_________

Seeing Neil & the Chrome Hearts here in Richmond August 10th.

This show is tonight. Lakefield is about 25 km from where Neil grew up in Omeemee (‘There is a town in north Ontario…’). It’s an outdoor venue and is ‘rain or shine.’ No parking at the venue but shuttle busses are running from 3 (rather distant) locations. There are still several hundred tix for sale (note prices above). An excellent effort by Neil but… we’re having the coldest May since 1967. High today is 11’ and it’s bucketing rain. Not sure how this is gonna go…

(Side note re: Helpless - ‘north’ Ontario is a bit of a stretch. If you look at a map it’s pretty much at the bottom. But it’s north of the 401, which is all that matters to people from Toronto. grinning smiley)

Based on an answered fan question on NYA, it looks like due to poor sales, The Gorge date will be moved somewhere closer to Seattle, possibly White River Amphitheatre.

Copenhagen was very good. Awesome setlist. Sound not so good due to wind and the libe arrays swinging around. No delay speakers so people in back yelling to turn it up. Off to Dublin now.
