Yeah seems a bit enthousiastic for me as well.

Maybe scaled down Stuttgart and Groningen for example? This is not an artist who can sell 35k + tickets for 100 euro +... right?

I was told Groningen has a 60k capacity too

I wouldn't be surprised if they move the show in Stuttgart to Schleyer-Halle in the end (Schleyer-Halle is an indoor venue next doors to Cannstatter Wasen. the latter venue looks ridiculous with just 15.000 people)

Don't forget that he declared that he wouldn't play any indoor show. He thinks it's safer to play outdoor for his health. So I think he would prefer to play in a widely empty 35k capacity place than in a crowded 15k one

He's doing Glastonbury so probably that's it.

Scored Waldbühne D1 after some hassle. About same spot from where we saw the last Stones show there...

the greatest rock and roll band in the world - definitely

I no longer have a valid account for the presale and I don't want to pay any more now. I would like to buy seats for friends on Thursday.
Found the price list, but no block overview.

Do you (or any other here) have an overview of which blocks belong to which price category for Berlin Waldbühne ?

PK1 (180 €) inner field
PK2 (180 €) which seat block?
PK3 (151 €) which seat block?
PK4 (123 €) which seat block?
PK5 (105 €) which seat block?
PK6 (88 €) which seat block?

It's easy to guess. Just take a look at the map => [www.waldbuehne-berlin.de]

Yes, of course I know the plan.
But I would be interested to know how the price is distributed across the blocks.

For example,

PK2 (180 €) in all blocks A / B / C / D / E ?

or maybe just in block B / C / D ?

or only block C ?

PK3 (150 €) in blocks A / E ?

and so on.

... unfortunately that is not on the seating plan winking smiley

oh, come on! It's not rocket science to assign eleven blocks and the inner field to six price categories.

Got gold circle to Copenhagen, Dublin, Brussels and Groningen and prime seats in 102 at Shoreline. Shore tickets almost 3 times the price as Europe.

At Waldbühne the whole lower ring is 180 if I remember correctly. PK 4-6 are all in the upper ring. Anyway I would suggest to sign a nya rust plan and score your tickets right away as the site was somewhat instable under heavy load on Tuesday.

Sadly it looks like Neil has priced me out. Also, he's playing the Gorge in Washington state which is over a 2 hour drive each way from Seattle. I've seen Neil more than any other artist so it's not the end of the world.

Thanks for the info, I can do more with that than with 12/6...
For me it must be work without a presale, for example it worked with FOS for Bruce in Berlin and many other concerts with good and very good tickets...hopefully today too.

It's a bit sad that Neil doesn't have "free seating" this time (all seats and the standing area for one price) like at my last two concerts with him at the Waldbühne (80 € = 2016 / 85 € = 2019)

I don't think the concept is to fill up the whole place. Maybe more in the Peter Maffay Style which was a small Arena build up on the Wasen. He played 2 concerts for each 15.000 people. This Arena was still fully built up when ACDC played the next day.

since Van Morrison is a co-headline in Dublin and Groningen they may end him to other shows where ticket sales are slow…
Waldbühne has reserved seating this time – another reason not to go

Only' 25,000 tickets for Neil Young today:

'He only wants to do open-air concerts this summer,' Sikkema continues. 'And then the choice actually fell on Groningen. That's also because we don't want fifty or sixty thousand people. We have a setting where twenty thousand, 25 thousand is good.'

He's performing at Hyde Park, with Yusuf/Cat Stevens and Van Morrison in support. That's quite a line-up, actually.

Awesome weekend at BST. Neil, Van and Cat (Yusuf) on Friday, July 11. Last show ever for Jeff Lynne’s ELO on Sunday. Who knows who they might add for Saturday.

Kinda rivals the weekend there in 2023, With Elton John Friday night, Stones on Saturday and Eagles with Robert Plant and Allison Krauss on Sunday.
