Can anyone tell me at what point during the 4 hour special the Stones performed. I was unable to watch and taped the entire show but did not want to watch all four hours to see the Stones? What song/songs did they play and from where?

Thanks!!!

Greg

They were on fairly quickly. I started taping the show and then Waiting On a Friend came on within the first half hour or so. I stopped taping/watching after that. I think that would have been the only song they performed.

Yes, sounded solid, but really nothing special. Also, as it is a ballad, not much energy on this song.

Saw it last night. WOAF sounded beautiful. I was up until 2:00 in the morning to watch Paul McCartney do Fine Line, but I fell asleep.

You can watch the performances on MTV.com (Waiting On A Friend + Rough Justice in the bonus section). Also of course Fine Line by Macca which rocked quite nice.

Mick's vocal was outstanding -- even better than the original recording. He's singing beautifully these days.
