Quick question, have thet released the reissues of Exile and Some girls in LP?? I mean with the extra tracks also in LP format

sadly no...unless they have a bootleg version on vinyl, but nothing official.

The SG bonus disc in particular is something I'd really love to see available on vinyl.

Bootlegs probably wouldn't cut the mustard as they'd likely be mastered from CD or commercially available down load sources.

The 2011 Deluxe-Version of 'Some Girls' is at least available as HighRes-88.2kHz/24bit-Download at:

That might sound half passable on vinyl if somebody did a good job with the mastering .

The SG Deluxe bootleg vinyl sounds great.

So I have a different question that has to do with outtakes from Exile.
On this boot here we hear the long version of "Ventilator". Charlie not doing the great beat yet. On the two guitars - could those both be Taylor?
The lead is Taylor for sure, and since the main riff is on slide I wonder if this is him also. He had been 'credited' as writer. On the other hand Keith has always seemed involved in this song too.

I think Keith is playing the slide-riff here – like on the album – while Taylor is trying to find fitting counter melodies. You can hear it on how he plays the power chords in the chorus + his «searching» slide playing-style. Taylor is rarely that much before the beat with his chords anyway.

That's what my ears are telling me anyway

Don't forget that Taylor was surprised getting credits for this one.
