My very favorites:

It Won't Take Long
Biggest Mistake
Laugh I Nearly Died

Can't pick one from there, because they're so different... but twist my arm and I'd prolly say It Won't Take Long

I have said it before and I'll say it again...

Play it loud and pay attention to it, and It Wont Take Long is the best song they've done in 40 years.

It is awesome, menacing, dangerous, mysterious, crashing, crumbling...yet so well put together and played it's SCARY GOOD.

It's as good as JJFlash, and Gimme Shelter in my opinion.

I get the "Aftermath-feeling" when I listen to "Biggest Mistake" - great! Something about the chorus that reminds me of some of the songs there...

"Rough Justice" ain't no "Gimme Shelter," (and what the hell else is, really?) but I sure get a big dopey grin when it comes through the speakers in the car.

"Back of My Hand" is the one that lets me know that they can still be the coolest guys alive. In centerfield at Fenway Park...with Woody sitting on the drum riser, until Jagger called him to the fore? I was blown away. A great recording on "ABB."

I'm struggling with a lot of the rest of this stuff ("Look What The Cat Dragged In?" Ha!) but the old bastards ain't done yet...

The fact that so many different songs are picked as best songs shows there are not many lows on this album. I myself couldn't pick one or two best songs, there are a lot more that are really good. I think they really made a fine album. It really doesn't make sense to compare it to Sticky Finges or Exile, I mean that is more than 30 years ago and it simply was a different band then. But compared to the albums of the two albums of the 90s it's at least the same level as VL and BtB, maybe even better.

100% agree with wahwahwoody: "The fact that so many different songs are picked as best songs shows there are not many lows on this album"

Also, 100% agre with micawber: "There are so many of it, I can't actually chose."

Our boys created a marvellous album in 2005! Nice feeling...
