Has to be "Too Much Blood" off the "Undercover" album.

Try this one just strumming an acoustic guitar, sing a bit nasal and it sounds like a genuine Bob Dylan tune.

Moonlight Mile, of course. I never understood the fact that they released it on Sticky Fingers, it´s oh so unfitting. Even on TSMR MM would be one of the unpleasing songs.

Another one comes to mind, Thief In The Night, but this one isn´t weird really, it´s plain boring.

? MM unpleasant song? Agree with TITN, though.

In what sense do you find those radio-friendly singles weird?

Back in school days, there was an old guy who worked in the library. We called him Gomper. We really were sniveling little sh-ts.

Amazing. I was a HS senior when Sticky Fingers came out and played it incessantly. Sticky Fingers, side 2, headphones, late at night, the perfect album side. Moonlight Mile is perfect where it is. Cosmic. I guess you had to be there.

I mean if I had to pick the best album side of all time (remember sides?) it would be Sticky Fingers side 2. Sex, drugs, degredation, redemption, it is all there.

Weirdest Stones song meaning...you wouldn't expect them to write it and record it?

Sweet Neocon is the worst song they ever recorded
followed by Back To Zero. Enough said.

But the weirdest...not necessarily bad has to be:
Continental Drift

Is there any guitars on the track?

Totally the weirdest song since they left ABKCO. No Keith riff, No Charlie Beat, No Bill Wyman Swing...that is definitely from left field and designed to be.

No. How long have you been listening to the Stones? Are you really into them?

On With the Show.

I get the song, right in the Sgt. Pepper's mold and the seaside carnival barker and all that stuff.

But the Stones?

Moonlight Mile is indeed cosmic and totally amazing. It's mind-blowingly fantastic. Nothing strange about it. It's what makes the Stones the Stones.

Yes...anything from Santanic would probably body anything else in their catalog...bizarrely designed to be psychedelic and not from their roots.

I nominate this whole album as the Weirdest Stones tune...with a side of accidental gems! smiling smiley
