Keith and Nora

Here is a film of Keith and Nora Jones singing Love Hurts. Keith and Nora harmonize well and sing with great feeling. Nora is absolutely beautiful, Keith not so much.

I believe this is the only time Keith has sung with a female but I could be wrong.

He played guitar on Aretha´s JJF-version in the mid-80s but did not sing.

This duet with Norah Jones is pretty good, better than that on CH.

And we all know (right?) that Keith and Norah duet beautifully again on CrossEyed Heart.
He also took the male role on Ronnie Spector's rendition of Work Out Fine (on her Last of the Rock Stars LP)

On Sing me back home (Easy come, eays go album) Marianne Faithfull was backed up in harmonies
by Keith, who also plays guitar on the song. Don't know about their looks, but they
sure do sound beautiful together.

Just as long as the guitar plays, let it steal your heart away

Back when Keith was still skinny and coked up.

Why 'Keith not so much'? He does his thing; pretty well.

Funny how one man says it's beautiful, another says it's horrible. Taste is a subjective thing. I love almost everything Keith gets involved in. He's just so...soulful. He plays and sings from the heart, rarely technically perfect but with so much feeling. Love it.

One thing Keith has shown again and again (and I didn't expect it before his first solo album came out) is how good he is in creating and singing soulful ballads.
And Norah Jones is a fantastic singer, a beautiful soulful voice and perfect timing, both here as on Illusion.

Norah Jones may be a good singer and good looking, but her music bores me to death. Keith may be not a good singer and not as good looking as Norah Jones, but he rarely bores me. Once I saw a movie starring Norah Jones, it was called My Blueberry Nights I guess - what a bore. She´s a sleeping pill on two legs.

And you think always saying the opposite of everybody else is not boring?

She is very talented, and, of course, very good looking.

Keith, to put it in math terms, is infinity undefinable.

I am afraid you are right, but tell me who can listen to a Norah-Jones-record from start to finish without gallons of strong coffee?

Keith is a very gifted singer, which is often overlooked because he makes it seem as natural as breathing.
That duet with Nora is a good example - what he's doing is wonderful.

My blessings bless him :E

This was meant in a positive way - mind of his own, one of a kind.....

Yes, I love Keith's vocals as well but it's funny how different people hear things completely different. I was discussing the Stones once with my older brother, who is also a fan and he said, "The only bad thing about the Stones is when Keith Richards sings, which is gruesomely horrible." I felt sorry for him for not seeing the soulful beauty that is there.
